    About Mama Oclla and Oriens

Mama Oclla arises as a result of a musical search through collective improvisation. Originally from Mendoza, Argentina, the group begins to experiment, in 2017, with improvisations of up to two and a half hours in duration and focuses on shaping those musical seeds found during that process.

In May 2021, they present their debut album Oriens, recorded by Daniel Zanessi at “Estudios Zanessi”, mixed and mastered by Patricio Claypole at “Estudios el Attic”. In Oriens the different influences, musical and philosophical, of the members are mixed, resulting in a multicultural sound balance and establishing Mama Oclla as a vehicle in movement towards exploration and expression.
